Mizani RHELAXER hair relaxer - 30oz tub
Rheologically engineered relaxer for balanced performance.
This relaxer contains sodium hydroxide (lye).
Do not use on hair that has been bleached, stripped or treated with compound henna or metallic dyes. Do not use on hair that has been bermed with any products containing Ammonium Thioglycolate (Curly Perm) or "Natural relaxers" containing metallic salts or Ammonium Visulfite. Do not use on hair that is breaking, splitting or otherwise damaged.
Do not relax hair immediately after removing braids or extenions. Deep condition and wait at least two weeks.
If hair has been previously relaxed, apply only to new growth as directed.
Before Relaxing: DO NOT SHAMPOO before relaxing. Check condition of client's hair and scalp. Select correct relaxer strength. Avoid vigorous brushing, combing or tugging. Wearing protective gloves, conduct a strand test using "relaxer Application" directions on a small section of hair. Proceed only if condition of hair and scalp are good.
Relaxer Application, Step 1: 1. Apply protective base on skin around hairline and ears. Avoid hair. Set timer according to relaxing timeing chart prior to application of product. 2. Wearing protective gloves, apply a generous amount of relaxer to most resistant area using back of ratail comb or application brush. DO NOT appy to scalp. 3 Continue application throughout entire head, parting in thin sections. Complete all sections and apply to hairline last. 4. With gloved fingers or back of rattail comb, gently smooth hair at scalp area until desired straightness is acheived. NO NOT exceed recommended timing. 5 Rinse throughly with warm water. 6 Proceed to STEP 2: selecting Option A- Conditioning OR Option B- Phormula-7 Neutralizing/Cheleting Shampoo.
Conditioning Directions, Step 2 (Select Option A or B)
Option A- Conditioning before neutralizing shampoo: 1 Apply and distribute Moisturefuse Moisture Conditioner to hair and cover with plastic cap. DO NOT USE HEAT.
2 Leave in hair for 10 minutes. 3 Rinse throughly. 4 Apply 1 to 1 1/2 PHORMULA-7 Neutralizing/Chelating shampoo to hair. 5. Lather and rinse throughly with warm water. 6 Repeat steps 4 and 5.
Option B- Neutralizing shampoo before conditioning: 1. Apply 1 to 1 1/2 oz PHormula- 7 Neutralizing/Chelating Shampoo to hair. 2 Lather and rinse throughly with warm water. 3 Repeat steps 1 and 2. 4. Apply and distribute Moisturefuse Moisturizing Conditioner to hair and cover with plastic cap. 5 Rinse, towel dry and proceed to normal styling.
