| Duke Texturizing Creme Kit for Men - ULTIMATE STRENGTH - 1 applications A Texturizer is a mild relaxer that loosends your natural curl pattern for easier and more manageable styles. IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BEGIN: If you have never used a texturizer before or if you have dyed (or color treated) hair or if your hair is easily damaged, you should do a test on a small area before you begin. Follow instructions below for this test. For best results you should have at least 1 inch of hair. All processing should be done with plastic gloves. STEP 1: Apply Protective Gel Apply protective Gel around hairline, ear and back of neck STEP 2: Application of Texturizing Creme Begin application with the back of a large toothed comb at the most resistant part of the hair first. This area is usually at the back most resistant oart of the hair first. This area is usually at the back of the head. (at this point, begin timing the process according to the time chart below). Apply creme texturizer 1/8 inch from the scalp. Apply quickly and evenly throughout the hair for even distibution and coverage. Do not touch the scalp. Once creme is evenly spread, comb creme throughout your hair until curl or wave is loosened to your satisfaction. Do not exceed total time on chart. For New Growth or Touch Up: follow instructions above. Avoid applying the creme to previously texturized hair. STEP 3: Conditoning neutralizing Shampoo Rinse Texturizing creme thoroughly from all parts of the hair with lukewarm water. Immediately apply a generous amount of the conditioning neutralizing shampoo into the hair and massage gently, being sure to cover all areas completely. Leave in for 5 minutes and then rinse again with luke warm water. STEP 4: Maintenance and Style Apply Wave & Curl Avtivator. Thoroughly massage into har and then comb and style as desired.
