Duke TEXTURIZING CREME - 15oz jar

  • Works in less than 20 minutes!

    All process should be done with plastic gloves.

    STEP 1. APPLY PROTECTIVE GEL: apply protective gel around hairline, ear and back of neck.
    STEP 2. APPLICATION OF TEXTURIZING CREAM: begin application with the back of a large toothed comb at the most resistant part of the hair first. This area is usually at the back of the head. (At this point, begin timing the process according to the time chart below). Apply creme texturizer 1/8 ich from the scalp. Apply quickly and evenly throughout the hair for even distribution and coverage. Do not touch the scalp. Once cream is evely spread, comb creme throughout your hairuntil curl or wave is loosened to your satisfaction. DO not exeed total time on chart. FOR NEW GROWTH OR TOUCH UP, follow instructions above. Avoid applying the cream to previously texturized hair.
    STEP 3. CONDITIONING NEUTRALIZING SHAMPOO: after texturizing rinse texturizing creme thoroughly from all parts of the hair with lukewarm water. immediately apply a generous amount of Duke conditioning neutralizing shampoo into the hair and massage gently, being sure to cover all ares completely. LEave in for 5 minutes and then rinse again with lukewarm water.
    STEP 4. MAINTENANCE & STYLING: apply Duke Wave & curl acitvator. Massage into hair. COmb and style as desired.

    INGREDIENTS: WATER (AQUA), PETROLATUM, MINERAL OIL, CETEARYL ALCOHOL (AND) DICETYL PHOSPHATE (AND) CETETH-10 PHOSPHATE, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CETYL ALCOHOL, PPG-5-CETETH-20, PEG-75 LANOLIN, QUATERNIUM-80.

    WARNING: Keep out of reach of children at all times. Keep out of eyes, ears, nose and mouth. If texturizer is accidentally swallowed, call for medical attention immediately. If texturizer gets into eyes, rinse thoroughly and immediately with luck warm water and consult a doctor.
  • This product contains sodium hydroxide (lye). Follow directions carefully to avoid skin and scalp burns, hair loss or eye injury.
  • Do not use on hair previously treated with ammonium thioglyocloate (cold wave perm)
  • Do not use if scalp is irritated or scratched.
  • If texturizer cuases skin or scalp irritation, rinse thoroughly with luke warm water and apply duke conditioner neutralizing shampoo.
  • Do not use texturizing cream within 3 days of permanent hair color application
  • Semi-permanent hair color can be used on the same day as a texturizer.
  • Do not pre-shampoo or wet hair before application.
  • Do not use on bleached or permanently color treated hair which is breaking, shedding or otherwise damaged.
