Curl Fixer is to be used after the hair has been set on permanent wave rods and after the hair has been rinsed of any chemical other than water.
After setting the hair on rods, apply the curl fixer, drenching each rod. The hair must be thoroughly saturated with warm curl fixer. Six minutes after the first drenching, drench the rods again and wait 3 minutes. Do not rinse between drenchings! Remove one rod from the front, crown, and nape area and check the curl. For very hard curl hair, place a plastic cap over the patrons head and place under a hot dryer for 10 minutes.
